Two Vo-Tech Football Coaches Hit Career Milestones Together

Dan Ritter, head football coach at Howard, and Frank Moffett, head coach at Hodgson, both reached career milestones within one week, each winning their 150th game at their respective schools.
Ritter, now in his 20th season leading the 2019-20 Division II State Champion Howard Wildcats, reached his 150th career victory in late November against Appoquinimink High School. He also led the team to its first Division II state title in 2015.
The next week, Moffett, whose Hodgson Silver Eagles are the 2019-20 Division I State Champions, reached his 150th win in a game against Mount Pleasant High on Dec. 5. He has led the Silver Eagles for 18 years and three other Division II state championships.
Both are being recognized for their achievements at the NCC Vo-Tech Board of Education meeting Dec. 21.
