“Greetings Hodgson Family and Friends,
I am very proud to be the principal at Hodgson Vocational Technical High School. I started my educational career at Hodgson in 1988 as a physical education and health education instructor. In addition to my teaching duties, I also served in the roles of athletic director, assistant football coach, and head wrestling coach. In 2002, I left Hodgson to become an Assistant Principal in the Colonial School District. I remained in this position for one year before returning to the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District at Delcastle Technical High School. While at Delcastle, I taught Driver Education, and was the Athletic Director. In 2006 I was promoted to Assistant Principal at St. Georges Technical High School. I served in that role until I became the Principal of Hodgson in July 2013.
I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Delaware where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health Education. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Wilmington College, and completed my doctoral degree in Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington University.
Hodgson Vocational Technical High School has a rich history of academic success and student achievement. Students are very fortunate to have talented, dedicated and caring faculty members who are committed to their success. Our mission is to provide students with the academic and career experiences to ensure that they are College and Career Ready.
I am excited to be a Silver Eagle, and like working with our tremendous staff and students. Please enjoy your visit to our website and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.”
