NCC Vo-Tech Brings It At National Skills Competition

NCC Vo-Tech students brought home the medals and the recognition from the National SkillsUSA conference held in late June in Louisville, Kentucky. Sarah Buehler, a 2017 graduate of the Delcastle Technical High School Sheet Metal Fabrication program, took first place in the Sheet Metal competition. Tyler Lord, a 2017 graduate of St. Georges Technical High School HVAC program, won second place in the HVAC competition. Howard’s Kimani Jackson, also in the Class of 2017, was selected to sing the National Anthem at the conference opening, before more than 15,000 students, teachers, and business partners who attended from across the country.
