Delcastle brought home 1st place in the school division at Delaware’s Farmer and the Chef event Sept. 14, an annual fundraiser for the March of Dimes held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Local farmers and local chefs from area restaurants and culinary arts school programs pair up to prepare dishes for attendees to sample and to vote on favorites.

to produce a winning combo that included corn chowder, an eggplant/potato/bechamel tower with fresh marinara, and other delectable bits. “Our students were on point all night,” said Chef Craft. “I think people voted for the students as much as for the food – everyone was so impressed with their work ethic, skill, and attitude.”
