All NCC Vo-Tech students will be given a school-mananged electronic device this school year to enhance and expand their learning opportunities. Howard High School of Technology, the first public high school in Delaware to provide electronic devices for all students in 2012, will continue to provide an iPad for each student. Students at the district’s three other high schools – Delcastle, Hodgson, and St. Georges – will be given a Chromebook. Providing these devices allows students to choose how, when and where they learn, empowering them to maximize their full potential in preparation for the workplace and post-secondary pursuits. They will have accessibility to the world’s subject matter anywhere wireless connectivity is available.
